About me
My name is Thorn Merrill. I grew up in the green mountains of northern Vermont. I completed my undergraduate degree at Bates College in Maine with a major in geology. I then moved to Utah to pursue my outdoor hobbies including skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking. I am now at the University of Utah as a graduate student in the Atmospheric Sciences department where I specialize in air quality issues including dust.
