About me
USU Water Quality Extension's mission is to increase awareness of the importance of our water bodies and watersheds and to protect Utah’s water from nonpoint source pollution. USU WQE provides high quality information and outreach in support of Utah’s Nonpoint Source program, focused on providing experiential outreach opportunities through hands on curricula for teachers, exploration based activities for youth, and our ever expanding Utah Water Watch volunteer monitoring program. We also provide resources for recreators on how to properly dispose of waste while enjoying the great outdoors (GottaGoUtah.org) and how to incorporate best management practices protective of water quality on small farms and backyard gardens (SmallFarmNeighbor.org).
