About me
Amy Joi has been in the profession of reporting for more than 30 years and has spent the last 12 years writing about the environment, including the Great Salt Lake. She is the recipient of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, an international award for reporting. Her passion is all things water because it is complicated, so misunderstood and the ordinary resident has no idea how much it takes to get it to the tap. We take water for granted, as well as the people who manage it and it is a finite resource. Her goal is to shine a light on water managers the hard work of farmers and ranchers and educate the public about a system we all depend on that was built on the shoulders of the generations that went before us.
