About me
Ben Stireman is the Sovereign Lands Program Administrator for the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands ("Division"). The Division has executive management authority, as delegated by the Utah State Legislature, to manage sovereign lands for the State of Utah which include the Utah portion of Bear Lake, portions of the Bear River, Great Salt Lake, Jordan River, Utah Lake, Moab Exchange Lands, and portions of the Green and Colorado Rivers. Ben has been working for the state in resource management since 2016. He holds a BS in Urban Planning and a BS in Environmental Studies from the University of Utah, as well as a MS in Public Administration from Southern Utah University. Ben was born and raised in Utah and lives in Bountiful with his wife and two sons.
